Resipole (a Corbett at 845m) The highland cows graze in the Oakwoods
where there is a programme in place to monitor the effects of the cattle
on the flora and fauna of the woods in order to preserve and enhance
the area. The tourism side of the farm has been in existence for over
thirty years and the family are always on hand to ensure your holiday
goes without a hitch.
Take a walk through the ancient Sunart Oakwoods which
have been designated as a Special Area of Conservation. This is one of
the few areas where the Ancient Caledonian Oak Forest still remains.
Climb the hills out to the summit of Ben Resipole to
enjoy the spectacular views out to Skye, the Inner and Outer Hebrides
and over to Ben Nevis.
