Nestling beside Loch Feochan in Argyll, Scotland, lies Knipoch Hotel (pronounced neepoch -och as in loch).  This four star country house hotel is privately owned and run by the Craig family.

We opened Knipoch as a hotel in 1981.  Prior to this it was our family home with a history.  In 1592, Campbell, Thane of Cawdor was assassinated here at the "house of Knipoch in Lorne".

At Knipoch hotel we have 18 bedrooms including two suites and a triple room. All of our rooms are en-suite, with combined bath and shower - and have heating, direct dial telephone, TV, radio and hairdryer. Each room has a delightful view of either the surrounding countryside or Loch Feochan.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all the bedrooms and public areas.

Well-behaved pets are very welcome to stay in the hotel bedrooms by prior arrangement, there is a charge of £12.50 per night. We only ask that they are not left alone in the bedroom.

For the comfort of our other guests’ pets are not permitted in the public rooms.

There is a superb walk behind the hotel where both you and your pet are safe and free to climb as high as you wish.

Relax - you're at Knipoch.
