Gardens

gardens.jpgAlthough you may think the Scottish Highlands to be usuitable for mature cultivated gardens, the north Atlantic Gulf Stream aids to the nuturing of some very unique and valuable plants from all over the world, many of these are cultivated and established in some of Scotlands Gardens.

If you are able to visit the Scottish Highlands it would be a great oppotunity to visit public gardens or private gardens and really see these masterpieces that have been cultivated and nutured for years.

Many public gardens or private gardens are set in some stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands.

There are also Guided Garden Tours that you can take giving you a real understanding about the planting of perhaps wetland, alpine or woodland and the landscaping that is involved to create these beautiful gardens.
