Aberlour

Nestling between the Conval Hills to the east and the River Spey to the west Aberlour is known locally as The Jewel Of Speyside and makes a wonderful holiday destination.
Home of Walker's Shortbread and The Aberlour Distillery the village has much to offer visitors. Enjoy a leisurely stroll by the River Spey and watch the skill of the Anglers as they court the Salmon and Sea trout in the Aberlour Association Water.
For children visiting Arborlour there is a putting green and well equipped playground in the Alice Littler Park (also indoor swimming pool and other indoor activities at the Speyside Community Centre).
Aberlour is at the heart of Malt Whisky Country with many of the world's best known Malt Whisky Distilleries situated in and around the village.
In May each year the village hosts numerous events for The Spirit Of Speyside Whisky Festival which attracts whisky enthusiasts from around the world.
The Aberlour Distillery offers what is regarded by many as the best distillery tour in Scotland. You get the chance not only to see round the distillery but also to sample six of Aberlour's well known "drams".
Whatever your interest, whisky, fishing, walking, hiking, shopping or simply relaxing beside one of Scotland's most beautiful rivers, the Jewel Of Speyside has something for everyone - check out the Arberlour Holiday Accommodation and find somewhere wonderful to stay on your unforgettable holiday.
