Tunnag Cottage is a individual architect designed house built to a generous specification as a permanent home but with holiday letting also in mind. It offers spacious accommodation for six people plus a baby (Z Bed for 7th person may be hired) in three bedrooms, the ground floor one being fully disabled friendly. There is also a bunkhouse which will sleep an extra 2 people, if required.

The view is over a beech hedge to the Morvern Hills and it is located within about a mile of the beautiful sandy beach at Tralee Bay.

The generously appointed accommodation offers:-
Entrance Hall with Stairs off, Cloakroom/Toilet and Twin Bedroom en-suite (shower, wc & basin) suitable for disabled occupation; spacious open plan Lounge with Multi-fuel Stove, TV, DVD and Music Centre;
Dining Area with French doors to Sun Deck (with garden furniture) and south facing garden; fully fitted Kitchen area in ('L' bend) with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher;
Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer and door to garden.

Upstairs are a Double and Twin bedrooms and Bathroom with bath, wc, basin and separate shower. Full electric heating plus the multi-fuel stove.
Pleasant private garden bordered by a small stream (main area fully enclosed for child safety).

Parking for TWO CARS only.

The cottage enjoys an appealing rural setting, along a quiet country road, with open outlook towards the distant Morvern Hills. It stands in a pleasant, good-sized enclosed private garden bordered on one side by a small fenced stream.

Lachan Cottage sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms : Family en-suite bedroom with double and single bed; Double en-suite bedroom; King-size Double bedroom with main bathroom/shower room.

Dishwasher, Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer
Sky TV in sitting room and all bedrooms, including 47" plazma TV in double bedroom.
Large Garden area with garden furniture.

Electricity and Gas included.

Open all year.
 
Additional Bunkhouse available sleeping two people
The Bunkhouse is also available as an extra twin bedroom sleeping two people. There are 2 single beds and has TV and tea & coffee making facilities. However no washroom or toilet facitities, guests to use facitities in main cottage.
If required the Bunk House is an extra £80 per week. Please state on enquiry if required.

Both cottages are next door to each other, so for larger parties/families, together they will sleep 14 people.

Beautiful Tralee Bay with its sandy beach is within walking distance from both self catering cottages.

Local amenities are available in the village of Benderloch - about a mile away.

There is a good family restaurant under a mile away and the village of Benderloch has a well stocked licensed general store and filling station. There is fishing, boating, riding and karting in the area as well as many interesting places to visit, some almost on the doorstep. The area is rich in wildlife and history.

There are plenty local walks and hill climbs in the local Benderloch area, but for the more adventurous Glencoe is only about 25 miles away.

There is historic Barcaldine Castle just round the corner, the Sea Life Centre a few minutes drive away and a range of popular pubs/restaurants in the area.

Oban, "The Gateway to the Isles", is only about 9 miles away where you will find a large Tesco, Co-Op and Lidl and a full range of interesting shopping. Sports facilities include swimming, golf and ten pin bowling. Ferries leave for Mull, Iona and several other islands for day visits, or longer.

Or simply relax and soak up the wonderful Highland and coastal scenery.
