Rooms
Kitchen: When you enter the Tower, the first (and perhaps the most important room) is the Kitchen. It’s a “delight in white”, with all you will ever need by way of facilities There’s a cosy dining area and glass doors that open on to the spectacular patio; just the spot for meals outside when the weather’s OK (which is surprisingly often).
Sauna: Before you explore upstairs, drop a few steps and check out the Sauna (and switch it on ready for later). A very nice facility!
Lounge: Moving up a few steps brings you to the lounge with it’s beautiful drapes (local tweeds), leather furniture and luxury furnishings. The views are there too, spectacular as ever and there is the flat screen digital television/DVD if you become bored or want to keep in touch with the world beyond.
Library: Up a few more steps to the cutest library that you will find: space for two and the ideal spot to while away an hour or two.
Guest Bedroom: Close to the library is a very well appointed guest bedroom with en suite facilities and TV. A view down to loch from the bed- no need to get up!
Master Bedroom: This circular room makes a spectacular bedroom! With the most wonderful drapes and fabrics, you will not want to leave! The luxury bathroom is equally spectacular with it’s authentic bath tub!
Rooftop Terrace & Spa: Ever dreamed of sitting in an open Hot Tub, sipping champagne, gazing at the stars and watching the satellites track overhead? Well this is what you can do when you stay at the White Tower of Taymouth! The views of the Loch, castle and mountains, is Scotland all in one view from the turreted roof!
Weddings at The White Tower of Taymouth Castle The White Tower, with it¹s beautiful and secluded location must be the ideal honeymoon retreat. Queen Victoria fell in love with the area and there is a very good chance that you will too! (She had a piper play the bagpipes and you can too) There are several hotels in the area that are ideal for hosting wedding receptions and do it very well; we would be happy to advise.
