The Waterfront Restaurant started life as the Seaman's Mission in the 1960's. A fitting beginning for a seafood restaurant! Our aim is, and always will be, to provide the best local and other Scottish produce, cooked to order and served in a relaxing and friendly environment.
Annie and Alex have put much thought into, no only, the menu, wine list and style of service, but the all important ambience of the restaurant too. Annie's passion for art and unique collectables are in evidence with works from both home and abroad - David Newbatt's artwork which adorns the entrance staircase is a prime example of the Restaurants much talked talked about and admired features. To Eat - Menus at the Waterfront RestaurantThe emphasis is, naturally, on fish and shellfish. We rely on our local fishmonger (Allan or “Wattie” to his friends) to supply top quality seafood for our menu and blackboard specials. “Gordon the Prawn” our langoustine fisherman gives us a daily supply of the most superb langoustine and our smoked salmon is sourced from the famous Inverawe Smokehouse
