The Old North Inn sits in the small village of Inchmore on the A862 just 7 miles from Inverness – formerly known as the Bog Roy, the inn holds a prime place in the colourful history of the area and still today remains at the heart of the local community.

There has been an Inn at Inchmore (the village also used to be called Bog Roy) for over 270 years. The Inn has provided food and shelter to diners and travellers through the years and has seen Inverness change from a sleepy highland capital to the vibrant, exciting young city it is today.

What hasn’t changed however is the magnificent scenery of the highlands around Inverness and the true Highland hospitality that complements it.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet drink, a nice meal or a comfortable overnight stay, you can be assured of the finest Highland hospitality at the Old North Inn.
