Inverness Film Festival

Film buffs will enjoy the 8th annual Inverness Film Festival, taking place at Eden Court 3rd – 7th November, 2010.  All comers can enjoy a variety of workshops, lectures, and of course, films.  This year, the festival is spotlighting debut works from directors around the world.  There will be also be 15 Scottish and 3 UK premiers, and audiences will have the chance to participate by voting for favourites.  Asian cinema will be another focus of the festival as organisers strive to bring new, innovative and exciting film experiences to the Scottish Highlands.  Educational resources are available for some of the films, as well as special viewings for schools and groups.  Finally, for an entry fee of only £1 per person, individuals and groups (maximum of 6 people per team) can pit their knowledge against their rivals in the 2nd annual Masters of Cinema Film Quiz.  A special prize will be given of classic film DVDs.   Don’t delay—contact Eden Court today for ticket information, or visit the Film Festival’s Website at www.invernessfilmfestival.com.
