Ice Skating Comes to Fort William

Posted on Thursday, 04 November 2010 06:34AM by Scottish Highland News
Excitement is in the air as the holidays draw near and Fort William prepares to open its first-ever ice rink at the Nevis Centre.  From November 20th to 27th, individuals and families can enjoy a spin round the ice in a traditional take on wintry holiday activities.  Skates are included in the cost of your 45-minute session, and prices are offered for adults, under 12s, and families.  It is possible to buy tickets in advance from the Nevis Centre, and may be a good idea as they are expecting a great turn-out for this holiday activity.  Ice skating is available from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM each of the eight days.  If you have always wanted to give it a whirl, or if you are a seasoned skater, mark these days down on your calendar and visit Fort William’s ice rink at the Nevis Centre.
