The Great Glen Lodges are family owned and offer high quality self-catering family holiday accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The Lodges are set in a spectacular scenic location within the Great Glen and Lochaber, the centre for outdoor activities in the United Kingdom.  Nestling between Fort William and Fort Augustus, within the huge fault line of the Great Glen, this small group of south facing timber lodges all offer superb panoramic views of Loch Lochy and the mountains beyond.  We pride ourselves in providing  quaility self-catering accommodation and service to meet the requirements of our guests, many of whom return time after time. We are very dog friendly, all we ask is that your pet is kept on a lead whilst on site and in the vacinity of the farm and must never be left in the lodge unattended.   There is now Purpose Built Access to the Loch Side just a minute walk from each of the lodges.

To the rear Ben Tee, one of the many Munro's over 3000ft in the area rises steeply and is ideal for climbing and walking. The Great Glen long distance trail passes the entrance to the lodges  and is popular with cyclists, walkers and mountaineers.

The area is also a Mecca for anglers with free fishing available on Loch Lochy. The use of a boat with a ghillie is available on request at an extra cost. Permits for Salmon and Trout fishing can also be obtained for surrounding rivers and lochs.

Lochaber's main water sports centre is only 3 miles away, providing  a swimming pool, bar and restaurant. The Great Glen Lodges, Kilfinnan, is also a good central base for exploring the majestic scenery and many historic castles and monuments, which lie along the Great Glen from Inverness to Fort William.

Horse riding and golf are available at Fort Augustus, where cruises on the Caledonian Canal can also be enjoyed. In the winter period Sking and snowboarding can be enjoyed on Lochaber's Ski resort at Aonach Mor.

Deer Stalking within the season can be arranged for our guests prior to your arrival, please call for further informaition.
