In addition Glencart offers livery to clients on a
part or full livery basis. Due to space restrictions we can no longer
offer DIY livery. We have stabling for 30 horses and ponies and
all boxes are currently allocated, with over 70 acres of well managed
grazing you are assured that your horse or pony will be well cared for
at Glencart. Glencart has always offered the highest level of
instruction and specialises in showjumping, with a good and varied
selection of BSJA standard jumps. The addition in 2006 of our fully
insured and accredited Riding School has seen a massive increase in our
riding students, who come from Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire and all over
Ayrshire to ride our top class horses and ponies. We always welcome new
riders and you may bring your own horse or pony for lessons if you wish.
This is a very busy yard all year round, with regular instruction,
intensive courses and of course, our well established Summer Series of
Shows, in addition to our informal showjumping, dressage and other fun
events. Our annual Showjumping Derby ends our competition year, usually
in late September.
When you attend Glencart, you will quickly find that this is not
only a professional competition yard, but one that has a great
friendly, social community, both online and offline. It's easy to lose
track of time as you unwind at the end of the day with friends. Show
days are full of bustle and energy. Food is available from our take
away cafe at every show and during special events throughout the year. Come and visit us anytime, Glencart is not just an Equestrian Centre, it's an experience!
